About Travellers Australia

Who we are

Travellers Australia is a campervan and motorhome hire comparison service for Australia and New Zealand. We are a small team of real people who know these vehicles, these roads and these suppliers inside out. When you tell us about your trip, one of us personally compares the options across every major hire brand and comes back to you with the best price we can find for the vehicle that actually suits you.

We are a comparison and booking service, not a vehicle owner or operator. We do not run the depots or hold the keys. What we do is take the guesswork, the tab-juggling and the markup out of booking a campervan, so you can get on the road sooner and for less.

What we do

Hiring a campervan should be simple, but anyone who has tried knows it rarely is. Prices shift by the day, every brand prices differently, and comparison sites quietly add their own fees on top. We cut through all of it. Tell us your dates, your route and how many people are travelling, and a real person compares more than 100 campervans and motorhomes to find your best fit and your best direct price.

How the compare-and-book-direct model works

It is refreshingly straightforward:

• You tell us your trip. Pick-up and drop-off, travel dates, number of travellers and any must-haves (toilet, automatic, one-way, pet-friendly).
• A real person does the comparing. We check live availability and pricing across all the major suppliers, not just the ones who pay to appear first.
• We send you the best direct price. You book directly with the supplier at that price. The hire contract is between you and the vehicle supplier; we simply get you the best deal and help you secure it.

Because you book direct, there is no comparison-site markup and no booking fee sitting between you and the supplier.

The brands we compare

We compare across all the major Australian and New Zealand hire brands, including Apollo, Britz, Maui, Jucy, Cruisin’, Spaceships, Mighty and Go Cheap. From budget backpacker vans to premium motorhomes that sleep the whole family, we look at the full range so you do not have to.

Why travellers trust us

Our value is our independence and our honesty. We are not tied to one brand, so our only job is to find what is genuinely best for your trip. We will tell you when a cheaper van has a catch, when a one-way fee makes another option smarter, or when your dates are better moved by a day. That candid, experience-backed advice is why travellers come back to us and send their friends.

Our promise

• The best direct price we can find across 100+ vehicles.
• Real people who answer the phone and know the vehicles, not a faceless booking engine.
• No booking fees and no comparison-site markup — you book direct with the supplier.
