Personal Statement:

I'm an outgoing and energetic guy from London, England and I'm in Australia on a 1-year working holiday. I arrived in Sydney at the start of January and will be in town for six months (until July 2011) before continuing my travels up the East Coast. I'm renting an aprtment in Ultimo and am looking for a full time job that will allow me to work hard, learn new skills and meet new people. I have completed my RSA and White Card coitse and I'm looking forward to strating work straight away.

Sam's Super Sandwiches is a busy cafe in the heart of London, famous for its tasty takeaway food. As a sandwichmaker I was responsible for:

• Greeting customers upon arrival in our cafe
• Taking orders and payment
• Preparing food
• Cleaning the food preparation area

Part-time Gardener and Landscaper

Gavin's Great gardening Services is a small but very well-known landscaping company in London. Over 200 people are employed within the business which has won many awards for excellent customer service. I worked part time while studying and really liked the job as I learnt a lot and enjoyed working outside. My role included:

• Mowing lawns, tree pruning, gardening and landscaping
• Physical labour including heavy lifting and handling dangerous tools
• Driving the company van to and from jobs, often moving tools and equipment between jobs

Newspaper Delivery

Whilst at school I worked mornings delivering newspapers in the local area. I worked 365 days a year, rain, shine or in thick snow! The jobs involved:

• Early starts, beginning work everyday at 5am
• Organising papers for delivery, checking daily run-sheet
• Delivery of papers to 45 addresses
• Often covering additional areas when other paper delivery people were on holidays etc

Internets and Hobbies:

• I enjoy travelling, exploring new places and meeting new people. After Australia I hope to visit NZ, Fiji and Thailand.
• Football, aka Soccer - I've been in a team since I was 5 years old. I'm passionate about the sport and have joined a casual team in Sydney
